Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give is this day our daily bread.
And forgive is our sins,
As we forgive those who sin against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver is from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
Forever and ever. Amen.
The Lord's Prayer directly relates to the spiritual entrepreneur's journey.
"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name" acknowledges that there is a God and we can intimately connect with God on earth.
"Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven" is the overall aim of the spiritual entrepreneur.
"Give is this day our daily bread" is the concept of manna. Jesus prays for daily bread, not a storehouse of bread.
"As we forgive those who sin against us" reflects the constant practice of humanity for increasing love. Jesus showed us this path by forgiving those who crucified him. "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34) is one of the most powerful statements ever made.
"But deliver us from evil" is something we all need.
Giving God "the power and the glory forever and ever" reminds us top stay humble and praise Him for all things that occur.
